I’ll Never Become an Actor

Ok… so I tried out for PCN skit again, for the 5th time in as many years.  So far, I’m 3 for 4.   Gosh… I hope I make it on the cast again this year.  I’d really like to wrap up my years here at UCI the way I started them out u know?  It would be sort of a nice full circle thing… I dunno… some people are like, what?  You tried out again?  Aren’t you tired of it? or… shouldn’t you give someone else a chance?

The reality of it is… I love acting… I mean I took all those drama classes here and I didn’t even have to.  I guess I really want to do it because, geez.. when’s the next time I’ll be able to perform on stage like this again?  In all liklihood, the answer is… never again.  After college, there’s almost no chance at all that I’m ever again gonna make it any other stage.  I always wanted to be in “Rent”… oh well.

*sigh* – I guess I just want one more chance before I move on to the “real world.”

Anyway… came across my kasama lil sis’ blog.  It’s in verse… so, here’s a haiku inspired by her blog…

Autumn leaves, come soon;
It is eighty degrees out
I need a new hat.

Fifth year of college;
Nostalgia occupies time
Senioritis rules.
