Dear Self Worth,

So I understand that sometimes you take a beating.  And I understand that sometimes I can be the worst perpetrator.  I also understand that despite the confident facade and the big talk that you are actually quite fragile.  I’m sorry that I never got around to building you up, making you stronger.

All I can say is, please don’t leave.  I need you.

I can’t promise, with the fledgling career that I’m in, that you won’t get beat up and tossed about.  I can promise, however, that there will be days when you will feel full to the brim, content, unable to contain the inner feeling of peace.  And those days, when you let yourself spill out to color the canvas of life… we will do great things.  Memorable things.

So please, stay.  We are meant for greatness.
